So, after work today (and after a much needed nap), I made my way to Best Buy to purchase Wrath of the Lich King. Needless to say, I was impressed to see a huge table with a bunch of copies of the game (considering I had called 3 places before Best Buy and found they were all sold out; BB had 400 copies still, or so they said).
Without hesitating I walk up to the table, lift up the first few copies and grab a copy from the back and head for the checkout line. As I walk that way, I hear a younger lad make the comment to his girlfriend. “See, she came to pick up the game for her boyfriend by herself. I don’t see why you couldn’t do it.”
I paused, for a split second, turned and said “Screw my boyfriend, the game is for me. He picked his up at lunch and didn’t get me a copy,” turned and walked away.
Seriously? What is it with people thinking that girls don’t play WoW. We do. I’m not gonna propagate the stupid lie of “Girls don’t exist on the internet. They are a lie.” Of course we do.
Either way, I gave into the fangirlness and got the game tonight and am installing it now. Impressions soon to come.

“Girls don’t exist on the internet. They are a lie” is wrong.
The correct statement is:
“Beautiful Girls don’t exist on the internet. They are a lie”
Same thing goes for cute guys. They don’t play video games, so they don’t exist on the internet either.
